Description

A 6.5x12 postcard template for shared-cost EDDM marketing campaigns, filled with sample local business ads. A long co-op direct mail design for agencies selling ad spots.

How it helps your business: A 12 x 6.5 in card qualifies as an EDDM flat and costs less to print than a 9 x 12, so you can offer cheaper ad spots to small local businesses.

Edit it in Canva: 12 x 6.5 in, a size that qualifies for USPS Every Door Direct Mail. Replace the sample ads with your advertisers’ artwork and update the publisher details. The design uses Canva premium elements, available with the free 30-day Canva Pro trial, which also unlocks CMYK export.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size does an EDDM postcard need to be?
This design is 12 x 6.5 inches. USPS Every Door Direct Mail accepts flat-size pieces that are larger than 10.5 inches long, or 6.125 inches high, or 0.25 inches thick, and no larger than 15 x 12 inches. At 12 x 6.5 inches, this postcard meets that size requirement. Common EDDM sizes include 6.25 x 9, 6.5 x 9, 6 x 11 and 8.5 x 11 inches.
How does Every Door Direct Mail work?
No mailing list is needed. With Every Door Direct Mail you pick USPS carrier routes on a map, and every address on those routes receives your postcard - no names or addresses to print. EDDM Retail lets you mail up to 5,000 pieces per ZIP code per day. Browse more EDDM postcard templates.
Where can I print EDDM postcards?
Any printer that offers EDDM postcards can print this design - export a print-ready PDF and upload it. Many printers will also bundle the postcards for the post office or mail them for you.
