Political Postcards | 20+ Editable Mailer Design Canva Templates

A headline offer that is readable at arm's length, your service area, phone number, a QR code and an expiry date. Keep the mailing panel clear: EDDM postcards need room for the USPS indicia and the "Local Postal Customer" line. For political campaign businesses specifically: name recognition first: candidate name and face large, one clear issue message, the election date, and the required "Paid for by" disclaimer. Repetition across drops wins.

Most are 11 x 6 in, and some are 9 x 6.5 in or 9 x 6.25 in. The exact size of each postcard is on its product page. To mail with USPS Every Door Direct Mail, a postcard must count as a flat: taller than 6.125 in or longer than 11.5 in, up to 12 x 15 in. A 9 x 6.5 in card qualifies; a 6 x 4 in card does not.

Yes. Every template opens in Canva in your browser, so you only replace the text, photos, colors and logo. Most designs use Canva Pro elements, which you can use with the free 30-day Canva Pro trial.

Pick your carrier routes on the USPS EDDM map, then either order printing and mailing from an EDDM printer or print the cards and drop them at your post office with EDDM Retail. Export a print PDF from Canva with CMYK color (Canva Pro, included in the free 30-day Canva Pro trial).
